Why we exist
Europe faces significant challenges on the way to decarbonisation. To support a grid aimed at being 69% renewable by 2030, the EU requires between 500 GWh and 780 GWh of total energy storage. Europe added 36 GWh of new installations in 2025 and annual installations are expected to reach 138 GWh by 2030 — but the cumulative installed base remains far short of what the grid will need. Closing that gap is the defining infrastructure task of this decade.1 2
At the same time, the centre of gravity in regulation is shifting. The framework governing energy storage is moving beyond carbon footprint alone. It is moving towards economic and digital sovereignty and increasingly asks a much harder question than “how clean it is” — it mainly asks: “who made it and who controls it”.
BESSMONT by InoBat is a direct response. We are building a European supply chain for energy storage, with the long-term objective of increasing the share of EU-manufactured cells, components and systems in our BESS and returning materials to the value chain at end of life.

From integrator to manufacturer
Our roadmap takes us from integrator towards BESS manufacturer and product innovator. Today BESSMONT delivers complete turnkey solutions — DC blocks, power conversion, integrated energy management systems, EPC and after-sales support. Our intent is localised production: EU-made cells, packs, containers and battery management systems.
To that end we are upgrading our facility in Voderady towards a targeted BESS production capacity of up to 5 GWh annually. Voderady is home to InoBat's battery R&D and cell pilot line, and to the BESS assembly line now under construction.
